Monarch Abode pure copper hammered duplex wall plate $10.95

I think a important part of it is trying to isolate the cover from the wall also. A gasket can be made out of sheet dampening material.
Sounds like a good idea. I dampen mine with rope caulk.
Denied facts are still facts.
I myself found the carbon fiber seriously lacking. Out of three I tried, a cf, the Brainard and a fairly heavy brass cover the brass won hands down. If punches weren't so expensive I would make one out of titanium which I would almost guarantee would blow any I've tried away. My educated speculation, of course. Wouldn't mind hearing a cu.

What was the sound difference between the copper and carbon fiber. Thanks
Would you mind providing a link?
Thanks

Most if not all will be copper plated. So far I don't see a solid cu plate??

You really have to try to see how it works in your system. I tried both copper/brass and carbon fiber wall plate covers, and preferred the original plastic. There actually was a sound change with the different materials, so it depends on what you like and how it interacts with your system.
I replaced my metal wall plates with carbon fiber......made a real improvement with very little outlay. I got them on Ebay.
