I'm looking for options and opinions on 3.5mm plugs with longer contact pin length for my digital audio players. The standard length pins do not stay fully connected to output. It's for source end termination of Morrow Audio cable.
Copper or high Copper content base metal with high quality Silver, Rhodium and or similar metal plate. Solid strong build quality. Prefered characteristics are big soundstage and depth of black background, musical, presentation/projection of instruments, lastly micro detail.
I've mainly been considering Furutech FT735SM R and Oyaide P-3.5 SRHP... any other ideas and opinions? It's part of overhaul and repairs to system. Morrow Audio internal pre/power amp jumpes, Morrow main speaker wire, Furutech 303 x over to woofers as well as trying Morrow Audio, Duelund WE 16 AWG and VH Audio 18 AWG Cu wires as power amp to binding post leads, x over to mids and x over to tweeters leads trials to find desired combo of characteristics.
Thanks for the input

The Furutech FT735SM(R) fits your primary criteria, since the tip and ring contacts are pure copper with a copper alloy ground contact, while all contacts of the Oyaide P-3.5 SRHP are a copper alloy. Whether or not one product vs. the other will provide a notably better portrayal of the listening cues you mentioned is unknown to me.
