Paco -Been using these myself for over 5 years. They are great for prototyping things, from loudspeaker crossovers to power supplies.
Almost all my DC supplies use these for final connections to the board being powered. This way the board can be easily removed for mods. I also like the screw down vs.spring contact you get in other connector designs.
They are also good for tube heater supplies where you want to be flexible, as in my VTV 6SN7 linestage that can run both 12.6V and 6.3V (12SX7 & 6SN7) by changing from serial to parallel connections.Bob
