Can I put a film cap in C445 and effect a bypass for both
C446 and c449? Its odd to me because your not put the bypass cap between the + and - it appears your putting it between - and -
Thanks,
Jeff

Whats the advantage of creating a bi-polar cap and decreasing the value by 50%?
Using two equal value capacitors in series + to + or - to - makes one bipolar capacitor of half the value of one single capacitor.
Capacitors in series values add like resistors in parallel.
1/(1/C1+1/C2) 1/(1/470+1/470)=235uF
So if C448 in your diagram is intended to be a 470uF bipolar you need to use two pairs of 2 470uF in series, in parallel. That would be use all four C446, C447, C448, C449.
As far as bypassing treat the two (or four) as one single capacitor.
Sure.
The Leach amplifier has provision for a bi-polar cap with a film bypass, or two back-to-back polar caps with a film bypass.
"C6 is an electrolytic capacitor. C7 is a film capacitor which is used in parallel with C6 to improve its high-frequency characteristics. The circuit board layout provides an option to use two polar capacitors in series for C6 or a single non-polar capacitor."
Thanks,
Jeff
