If it doesn't, then it isn't really a 'locator' is it? Nor can it possibly help with reception, which I think you claim.FM Fool in the USA does do that.
Looking at its listings of Australian FM stations, there is NO information about where the transmitters are, at all.
And none of the powerful ABC stations get a mention.

Yes, it shows the location of the transmitter, and the characteristic signal strengths within the coverage area.
Here is an example of a search of Seattle, WA USA:
