Worth a look if you are (still) interested in analog broadcast radio, IMO.
Nice photos, too (as always, since one of JE's other passions/avocations is photography).
I highly recommend his blog if his sorts of things are your sorts of things.
all the best,

Funny , but like Joe I also have T2 aligned and re-capped by Mike from
Radio X. It was his personal unit.
I pretty much decided to sell it after my misfortunes with FM reception.
i) See below.
I WILL one day take the PP 6BM8s out and their OPTs and mount them on a chassis with a nice overspec'd PT plus SRecovery SS diodes.
For the desktop system's spkrs and the ATH-AD1000X open-back phones in my mess aka the study!
ii) In our EMR and RFI infested world there is one definite GOOD thing about tuners with valve front-ends.
?
They are way more resistant to overload from strong RFI.

Back in my teenage years (early-mid 70's) in Lancaster, PA, I inherited a Sherwood mono tube tuner for my bedroom, and I would listen to Philadelphia's WWMR with just a dipole antenna (63 miles away!) It was still a free-form FM rock station in those days, and the d.j.'s played a lot of English folk rock (Steeleye Pan, Pentangle, Fairport Convention, Incredible String Band, T. Rex) and they really jumped on Springsteen before he was a national superstar. It was also the first place I heard the Velvet Underground and the Modern Lovers! Good times . . .
I said Sherwood's look nice. I forgot to add if I was a preamp I'd let him stick his RCA's in me.
Couldn't let a sick joke opp go by. Or bi? Ha! Another one. I'm on fire! Or will be when I enter hell....
