I recently picked up a group with some CEI branded tubes marked as 7316/ECC186. All say made in Holland.
Some are true 7316s (with appropriate etched codes), but the 6 in the photo clearly are not.
I think I have the first three identified, but I am unsure about the last three.
In the photos, tube #1 has no etched codes, a cross-hatched top glass and a tilted halo getter element. I believe it is a Japanese made 12AU7.
Tube #2 has long black plates and I believe it is an old USA made 12AU7 (RCA or possibly Tung Sol).
Tube #3 has short black plates and looks most like a USA made GE or Sylvania 5814.
Tubes #4, #5 and #6 are a bit mystery to me. Please help me identify.
They all have short grey ladder plates, but the ladder part is not very raised. They all also have medium-sized halo getters that are a little on the thick side. There are no etched markings that I can find. They each have a raised number in the bottom glass - 5, 6 (or 9) and 24.
If I had to guess, they are EI (Yugo) made.
Any opinions?
Follow Ups:
I see at least one Matsushita (far left). Middle tube might be a black plate GE/Sylvania. The other poster is correct the right 3 do look like Toshiba. If any of the tubes have acid etched codes, which I doubt any do then this would be very telling.
The three on the right were made in Japan, by Toshiba. Toshiba tubes have a characteristic broad rectangle on the flat side of the plates.
