One of the KR 842VHD tubes went south in my power amp, so I installed a fresh set and the channel that was out came back to life so all is well.I'd like to test them to find out which one is bad, however, and I do have a B&K Precision model #667 tester that I picked up years ago and am just learning to use. Unsurprisingly, there are no settings listed for this tube in the settings listings, although the 300B is listed and an adapter provided for that tube base. Does anyone know if the KR842VHD can be tested on this tester, and if so, what the settings might be?
TIA

the 842 has a higher filament draw and a higher plate wattage rating. Other than that they are pretty similar
After I posted this, that occurred to me. Oddly, I can't find a listing for the 300B either, although there is an adapter for the four-pin base. Is there another designation that tube is known by?
