In the 90s I bought a USA/115V AI Series 500, early version with 3 output taps. I sold it and consider buying one from Europe where they are more common.
Do 115V and 230V S500 share the same mains transformer? IOW, is the only difference internal wiring and rear panel label indicating mains voltage?
Q concerns only early amps with 4/8/16 ohm taps; later amps had different output trans w/only 4/8 ohm taps.

Thank you Eli! Indeed, the schematic displays 4 primary sections labeled 100V, 20V, 100V and 20V. Thank you for clarifying the 120V wiring method.
Peter Qvortrup of Audio Note designed the AI500; AN confirmed AI500 employs the same transformer for 120V and 240V.
The $64 question is are dual primaries that can be connected either in parallel (for "120" VAC) or in series (for "240" VAC) present. I don't know.
