So, in furtherance of full disclosure, I do not have any Siemens 12AX7 examples around to compare. I do, however, have a number of Siemens 6922 and 7308 tubes in my stash. Comparing construction clues from the pics and your description to the Siemens examples I have, I'm reasonably confident in saying those are the real deal Siemens tubes.
Follow Ups:
if they had gold pins they also would probably have the diamond logo <> between the pins and as they have frame grid anode housings surely would be true telefunken ECC803s manufactured for siemens. (i have those in my drawer).
as they have frame grid housings but no gold pins i am wondering about their origin. i own many siemens E88CC and ECC83 but never saw those siemens 12AX7 frame grid types. strange...

Hi Nunki!
You seem to have a lot of different 12AX7 tubes available and I know there is a multitude of variables, but may I ask which is your favorite? I use 12AX7's only as the input tube in an RIAA, and after trying out quite a few different tubes I've concluded that to my ears in my system I prefer Telefunken ECC808's with Siemens/Valvo ECC808 tied with Siemens E283CC as close seconds. Both the ECC808 and E283CC have different pinouts of course.
I haven't had the time to listen to the Siemens E83CC's though :-)

hello Geir,
tube preferrences are very individual so i am careful with any recommendations. fortunately i was a tube collector over decades and can grab any vintage twin triode for a test.
i prefer the tele ECC808 over the ECC803s and even the E283CC seems to knock out the ECC803s. fortunately you still get them for a reasonable price. BUT: the 808 and 283 only work with a tube adaptor in 12AX7 position. AND: the filament voltage MUST be 6,3 V parallel! otherwise you would harm the amp!
currently i run french MAZDA/Belvue 12AX7S chrome plates as phase convertes in my rogue atlas magnum. gorgeous!(on the other hand the MAZDA/Belvue 5751 sounds dull there). in the line stage of the rogue actually tele ECC802s are my favourites. but in other gears the 802s does not perform as expected. strange...
seems that tube performance essentially depends on the condition of the circiut around. and it surely depends on your currently mood...
tube rolling can be a matyrdom as you do not know which tube to stick with finally. (and even can occure stress with the family). sometimes i envy SS amp listeners - they have to stick with their amps as purchased...

We seem to have a similar taste in tubes :-) I got a pair of Mazda 5-star triple mica chrome plate 12AX7S's and although different sounding from my Tele smooth plates would rate them at the same level. My preamp is designed for using 2 each 12AU7's per channel, the best combination I've found so far is using Heerlen made ECC186's as input tubes and Heerlen made E80CC's in the cathode follower output. The ECC186 have a very nice tone in my system :-)

Yes, it's strange :-) But apart from the slightly different getter structure, a shield between sections and different pinout, they look very much like the Siemens E283CC I have.
