I bought about 800 tubes today. I've got some great new subjects to shoot!!! There's some crazy looking stuff.
My friend scored six original Gold Lion KT88s. I got a shitload of some gems too.
This was one of our better buys of the most recent past.

Byrd, I can't wait to see what you come up with from this new batch. Congrats on the score. I liked what the other post said about the tension in that shot. I think it's the right word to use. It aptly describes the vibe from that shot.
..the Platinum D3B-2 Core solid rocket boosters failed on each side and liftoff was never attained. The left booster quickly imploded and tore half of the Titanium Chloridotide shield right off the ship.
Back to the drawing board.

I got some tubes that will be the best subjects yet. I can't wait to get settled back into the office to do some more. I spent the last two weekends taking all the tubes off the floor, cleaning, cleaning out, and enjoying the new space. Now my floor is 1/2 covered in tubes again. I just can't catch up.
When does this tube madness stop? I needed more tubes like I need a psychologist. That didn't come out so right. But...I don't leave behind EL-34s, 6550s, 5AR4s, 6L6s, Teles, Mullards or Rad-Tel. I've lost count of several types.
