All I know they sound great open, wide, deep very natural sounding. Very nice tubes
Late 50's early 60s blackplate Raytheon.
Look at the curved edge of the plates, the shoulders on the, plates where the support rods come through the micas, and and the holes where the plates are folded together.
Many companies in the day were born out of other companies back in the day..There were others like Lansdale tube which was part of Philco after Philco bought National Union in 1947.That said,I would say your tubes may be made by National Union, if I had to guess.

Ha! I have one of these in my stash. Always wondered what the back story was.
In general, this construction in American-made tubes means pretty good sound, but not the quietest.
Observe, before you think
This is what I found.CBRZ = "(Philco Plant in Manaus [Brazil]; electronic tubes made by Lansdale Philco plant for US Army)"
Edit, It seem that Lansdale also had the PA former N-U factory.
More, "Collection of Philco Experimental Tubes
Featured on this page are some selected items from a collection of experimental and developmental tubes that were acquired from the estate of an engineer who had worked for the Philco Corporation. They were produced at the former National Union plant in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, which Philco bought in 1947."So the Lansdale Tube Co. is Philco but I don't think the JAN code CBRZ, C for contractor and BRZ for Brazil, would have been used on a tube made in the USA but I don't know for sure. I can't find any definitive info.

does it?
Then the answer is clear. There really is a town and former tube manufacturer in Lansdale PA. I haven't come across all that many of their tubes but it's true. I don't know about the Brazil connection, they sure look like a typical USA tube, but I don't know what a Brazilian tube looks like.
The ladder black plates reminded me of Tung Sol also, but they sure could be Lansdales.

Philco did have a manufacturing facility on Church Street in Lansdale, Pa. I recall as a boy my father, who was a pipefitter working there, bringing home tubes he was given for our TV set in the sixties. Later on he was a superintendent on the project when the facility was converted to manufacture color TV tubes. The plant was torn down about 12 years ago to make way for apartments and a shopping center. I've lived about 1 1/2 miles from there for over 20 years now.

I would say CBS as well, but could be a Tung Sol.
