LOL, just shows how photos can be deceiving. The OPTs are vintage hi-fi. You can't judge their size by the footprints or the cutouts nearby. I'll post more photos as the project progresses. You'll see what I mean. :)

Since I have been making transformers for over 30 years, I can judge that. I know how big a tube is and your space for the transformer is very limited.Actually, the space between tubes can also be a problem, unless it is class B. The heat dissipation of each tube requires a certain amount of space for each tube.
Actually 2: vintage transformer* materials are not good, modern materials are betterAnyway your chassis look awesome
* if it is a C-core you win about 50%
