Whatever accident you had with your DAC may have put a lot of voltage on the output. This likely fried the downstream components in your ARC. No telling the damage, but DC on the output is bad. Time to take it into the shop.

Ok,i suspect that as well but what do you think is the first to give in?

Start with the order the voltage comes in. Hopefully the first component in line failed and prevented damage downstream. That you are getting DC at the output is concerning, however.
I can send you a a shematic if i get your mail so maybe you can point me in the right direction.
