I am moving into a new home and the one drawback is the living room set-up. I currently have a Denon AVR-1910 running Polk Monitor 70s on the left and right. Rear speakers and center channel are Polk RM-7s. Due to the configuration of the room, I will no longer have room for the Polk Monitors and I will need to move to a much smaller setup. I was considering going with one of the following:
Denon AVR-1910 > Polk Surroundbar CHT 400 + Sub (TBD)
or
Polk Surroundbar IHT 6000 (wireless sub included)
Does anyone have advice on which one is preferred? Are there other alternatives I should consider? Space is a concern, but I want to maintain a good sound quality without sacrificing too much depth of sound. Trying to keep the whole project below $1000.
Cheers,

That's what I used in a similar situation, and I still use a pair in my family room for video and music. The A25 was made back in the 1970s by the thousands so lots are available on the used market. It can still hold its own despite its age.
Plug in a good set of earphones...you'll be amazed at how good the sound can be. I use a Sennheiser wireless pair....excellent...and I can easily move around the room, the house, and even outside.
