I'm loving my new Harbeth P3ESRs! Simply wonderful speakers - compact, musical, great with all kinds of music, great at lower volumes, engaging, fun to listen to. A very nice surprise. It's a small room and bass is excellent. Wish I discovered Harbeth sooner. I'm using them with a Resolution Audio s30 amp and the new Resolution Audio Cantata. It's a great combo.
I had been using a pair of Teresonic Magus Lowther-based speakers, but great as they are I had come to miss something more full range. The Harbeth's don't give up much to the Teresonic's speed and agility, but provide a fuller sound.
This is a very compact, simple system, but it is deeply enjoyable.

Can you compare it to your former Audio Note and Blue Circle gear?

It's been too long for me to adequately note any comparisons. Been a long time since I've had the Audio Note speakers. But in general musicality is the string that runs through what I've liked. Not hifi pyrotechnics, but musical engagement and enjoyment. They've all been good at communicating the musical message.
They will also work well with simple music (no Mahler or R. Strauss), with a single 300B (8 Watts). My Audio Note dealer was astounded. However, Peter Qvotrup the owner of AN-UK, says all his amps sound good on LS3/5As (maybe not the Vindicator @ 2.5W)

my 10-15 year old P3's are magical and I regret all the desk top listening I did with lots of other speakers B4 getting these. Not really but you know what I mean. If there is something better sounding out there in a sealed shoebox sized speaker, I don't know what it is. For desktop nearfield listening I think it is the last word.

Yeah, they're great aren't they? I'm using mine with Skylan two-post stands and a small Martin Logan sub.
It's amazing sound.
