Okay, so it's $265 for what I would consider normal stands, the ones with two columns. I have a pair of these here to audition. I repeat, they are a screaming bargain for that price. The JMR Magic Stands do a bit more for JMR Duets in the midrange for $400, which for $400 they should. And they were designed specifically for JMR stand-mount speakers. So if you still think $265 is too much for stands, you need to hear what your speakers sound like on cheaper ones. That ought to settle it quick. Sad to say, I guess, every link in the audio chain matters.
$265 canadia dollar was a bargain when the exchange rate was $1 U.S. dollar = $1.5 Canadian dollar. What's the exchange rate right now? $1 U.S. dollar = $0.9 Canadian dollar?Plus shipping, this will push the final cost to over $300.
Which is still considerably less than Sound Anchors, I expect, and $100 less than Magic Stands. Good costs. And, relatively speaking, not all that much if it really IS good. And now I'll get off your case!
