I would appreciate feedback on Skylan speaker stands and other speaker stands which have performed well. Thank You.

Highly recommend. The stands are of excellent quality and looks nice. I don't use other name brand stands other than a cheap cheap pair. I contacted Noel and bought a pair of 2-post stands will sand filled-in. They weight a lot and very sturdy.Since I live in the same City as Noel, he invited me to go to his workshop (actually his garage at the backyard) and spent more than 30-minutes to show me his stuff and taught me how to tweak the systems. Very nice guy.
By the way, Noel built me a custom turntable stand for my Teres 340. The design is excellent and the price was very fair. Noel is a pleasure to work with. If you need a stand for your 'table, Noel's the man.
Excellent stands for the money, and overall...One other brand I would consider are the custom stands built by Tyler Acoustics (the Model 1 stands in particular).
The Tyler stands are subjectivey slightly superior, but also cost a little bit more... Both companies offer similar (excellent) value for the money, IMO.
I too would highly recommend them. I've had various metal stands over the years, most expensive was the dedicated N805 ones at $600, and I think the Skylan's are the best. (they're not metal). They come with the best instructions I've ever gotten with anything I had to assemble. Noel even includes a wrench and "dedicated" funnel for sand filling. When I tap on them, even without sand, they just feel/sound right. Even down to the little disks he puts on the top plate and multiple pillars, they seem just right for me. Good luck.
I have the Skylan SMP-3300 Equipment Stand and I am very happy. Good quality construction, and I personally like the look of my stand as well. Tie that all to a very reasonable price and I will buy Skylan again in the future.
I had their stands with my AN K's and they were very solid - and a nice touch to have corners that won't kill your toes. Given what other stands go for in British Columbia there was nothing as good for the money that I could find...most were some cheap junk from the manufacturers for hundreds more and the ones that were $50.00 less were usually quite wobbly or non sand fillable.Noel custom makes them and is quite friendly. I currently have a turntable base from them and it's done wonders for my turntable.
I have my Harbeth Monitor 30 speakers on 24" Skylan stands. I highly recommend them, non-resonant composite pillars that you mass load with sand or leadshot, excellent workmanship by Noel himself. They are also well priced. I much prefer them to the welded steel stands.
