Hi just wanted to bring this back to the foreground. I had a guy contact me via email from reading my original post about my dealings with Larry Moore http://db.AudioAsylum.com/mhtml/m.html?forum=shady&n=4512&highlight=Larry+moore&search_url=%2Fcgi%2Fsearch.mpl%3Fforum%3Dshady%26searchtext%3DLarry%2Bmoore
He was considering a purchase of Larry's DAC41 (the 41st version of his DAC lol) he asked Larry about my post and Larry told him I was crazy and the whole thing is a lie. The guy contacted me to get my side of the story. I posted it in my original post on here. I have all the original emails to support my story as well as a few guys like Chris from computer audiophile even tried to jump in and see if they could help resolve. I was never and still never have had any contact since I told Larry I wanted to return the DAC.
Just wanted to renew my warning to the audiophile community. I have had at least 10 others contact me over the past couple of years to share their horror stories of dealing with Larry. Even one guy said he sent in an amp for repair and never could contact Larry again.
I ended up selling the DAC I bought new from Larry for a loss of 1500. Not only is the sound not good but the resale is terrible.

This fellow may have friends and even a few happy customers, but the way he treated you was inexcusable.
It is too bad that you seem to have had a bad relationship with Larry. I know Larry personally and have had dealing with him and find him to be a straight shooting, top notch guy. The products I have had him build for me have been world class and I highly recommend them. As usual, there are always two sides to every story. Will
My experience was different than yours, double28, and not good. In my opinion, the products he built for me were most certainly not world class and I would not recommend them -- or him -- to anyone under any circumstances.
if not the look out. I bought his product with an agreement of 15 days to return it and he stalled and made tons of excuses why I shouldn't return it and even when I did respectfully request to return it that it did not work in my system he never returned an email or phone call ever again. I still to this day have not ever been able to have a conversation with him about it. It's fine he's lost a lot more than the money I lost on his product that has terrible resale. I've turned more than one sale away. He even went as far as to say that he was out of the country in South America and could not be reached by any means phone, email you name it. When I called there someone who sounded exactly like him answered and claimed to be his brother. Later I was told that his brother confused south america for Larry Moore being on a bike ride in South Lebanon just for the day. Come on man this guy is nuts this is the craziest shit I've ever heard of. I know he has more trouble than just me, I've been contacted by many over the last couple of years since this happened with guys sharing with me their sob stories about how Larry Moore wronged them. I just talked to someone the other day who said Larry Moore and Eric Heider of DB audio had a falling out and are no longer dealing with each other that Larry Moore stole his ideas or something. Nothing surprises me with this guy. And yes he was nice to me in the beginning it was not until I politely told him his DAC did not work in my system that the problems started.
And a genius audio designer. No complaints here.
