But I have given this a little thought, and since I have a nice pair of Class A triode-wired monos (KT66) and a bunch of SET amps, I keep listening to various recordings of Bach's cello suites and his violin cantatas and partitas, and find that these two, taken together, sound so much more alive, dynamic tonally thrilling on any of my SET amps than on my PP monos that I keep turning to them and never stop finding something new.
So, I better stop yawning.

When it comes to SET"S, this quote pretty much sums it up-
"It's the midrange stupid"
Those instruments, along with most of the beautiful instruments are mid range concentric.
So is about 90% (or more) of the music ever written.
