My 5LP Cornell showed up a few days ago..., that I ordered 6 months ago.
My turntable is a bit discombobulated and haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. And the deadnet store's digital download is temporarily disconnected.
Doh!
I guess, for a little while at least, I'll be listening to my 25 year old CD I've lugged around all these years
I know this might be blasphemy by some.... Maybe a bit influenced by disco that was so prevalent at this time. I would describe this period and especially these shows as funky and rhythmic. It certainly has some raggae influence. The band as a whole has this wonderful thick, juicy, bouncy, full sound. A great period for The GD and one of my favorites.
