I was thinking today of Larry and his amazing stories...can one of you help me dig up a post of his, talking about a visit to La Honda, and going out in a row boat with Neil Young so they could properly hear some new mix (from the water!) on Neil's stereo ? What a priceless yarn...
I think it's time we started to share what we can of Larry's stories of the golden days. What a great way to honor his time with us.
cheers

It would be a fine thing to focus on Larry and HIS tales of 'back in the day'. For example, it was my understanding that he was around Palo Alto pre 1965. Where he first became friendly with Jerry Garcia and that music scene.
Yes that's just what I had in mind.
I wonder if the Management would consider archiving Larry's posts. There were some real keepers, not to mention his incredible photography.

you just need to search them out.
The AA archives are a treasure chest of knowledge and great stories waiting to be discovered and discovered anew.

I drove from the Bay Area to Portland. On the way, I stopped in Ashland. No, not to see Tara Labs. North of Grants Pass had thunder, lightning, hail, and lots of rain.
Good thing you didn't stop by Tara...they moved out of their building and, I hear, are in Medford now.
It was a nice day here in Ashland, at least, yesterday!
Nice pic! Lummy
