I'm a huge Roger Waters fan but I'm pissed that he is joining that pompous group of entertainers that think they can use their fame to influence political sentiment. Shame on you Roger.

You mean as opposed to a reality TV star who used his fame to become president? All art has a message; some art has a political message. Roger Waters isn't the one here who is wandering out of his element.

I'm a little surprised that Roger didn't change a few words, because it wouldn't have taken much to make it absolutely perfect. If Frank Zappa were still with us, I'm not sure he'd pen a more perfect commentary than 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)' could be with a few minor edits. Hell, even the idea of 'three different ones' fits, as the Donald is something of a schizo.
You are correct in asserting that Roger has not ventured out of his element. Social and political commentary is his element, and this song was always an example of such.
Although I could write a book in response, this isn't the place for that. I'm here for "Entertainment"------not "Politics".
Your original post belies that, but I'm with your current mood: stick to entertainment. Happy listening!
He's always been political in his lyrics. He's just putting a face on it in this case. It may be an easy, cheap shot given the circumstances, but it's no surprise.
