Any Skynyrd fans out there?
Put on Second Helping last night and... WOW. What a great album front to back.
Follow Ups:
Second Helping is probably my favourite lp of theirs, it's superb.
yes I did not have the old cds by them. so I bought the originals not the remasters of the 1st 3 or 4 cds. when I played them I thought they were exellent sounding. I use to collect the long box casettes of them and other groups. I like the skinard so well I bought the same thing on cd in the long box. its 47 songs with rare demos ect. its in a green box made in 1991 3 disc set with a huge picture book. Ive always wanted a dvd concert by them before the plane crash. but cant find one. I saw them on tv live a longtime ago. Ive always wanted a one more for the road live cd. I had to buy 2 of them. one had cd rot on both discs.
they made 2 types. a 2 cd one and a single cd one. I use to get all my disc from half.com an ebay site. if they dont have what I want they automaticly show whats on ebay. I only found 1 dvd that might be the original members but I never bought it. its expensive about $20 an its 2 advertisements on the dvd. I dont remember the names. so I dont think its concert stuff. maybe a documentary?
I should by it just to see whats on the disc.

skynyrd (pre-crash only) is one of my fave bands also.
ben: there is some excellent live footage on youtube. check out a winterland appearance and some in great britain.
the winterland concert contains songs not often seen in their live shows such as railroad song.

here is the link. the b/w footage with the long simple camera work, and the darkened stage, really give a stark edge to the performance thru this view. the band is tight and taut and kickin ass.
