Actually pretty good. As I'm trying to cop this solo. Lot of nice double-stop bended notes, etc. Anyhow, for those sick of the the main melody, solo starts around 2:50. Nice Les Paul...

I dragged my JBL 4311's up to the living room today and cranked the sound from that video (wife not home). Fun.
The solo section has always been my favorite part of the song. Kind of reminds me of the Kinks.
on the Les Paul for the lead and the bridge for the rhythm. I kinda like doing that, too. Bridge really cuts through the bass and drums for those rhythm fills. But, the mid-position gives the Les Paul a much smoother, warmer tone for lead work. Think that EC used to do that with his LPS & SG in the Cream and Blind Faith days--- for that (in)-famous "woman's tone."
