The only way you are going to show anything is to build a bridge and null out the signal. There is no other way to make a subtle difference visible, and that is if it is even possible then. We are talking nuances here that are practically impossible to measure even with ten grand worth of equipment.
I wonder maybe if a Wien bridge instrumentation oscillator and a spectrum analyser might show something. Perhaps if you have a whole distortion meter setup.
I have a pretty good one, an HP 339A. This has auto null and its own oscillator. The measurement floor is 0.0016 % which is low, bu it might not be low enough to show anything like you're trying to display.
