I've started setting up PiCorePlayer and can't figure out how to get wifi configured. It seems it is more involved than turning it on in the GUI. According to those settings, it is on; but when I reboot, the pi does not recognize a network connection.

Follow Ups:
Turns out there is a 10 band graphic EQ in tweaks. It just has to be enabled and turned on.
The 'random' and 'repeat' options haven't worked from the beginning. Any ideas?

Did not now about the Eq... But now I see it... Which should tell you, if you can think of something, one of the developers of PcP probably has thought of it also, so it probably there... There are a ton of features in PcP...
Did the Eq do what you wanted?
By 'Random and repeat' do you mean song shuffle or album shuffle? -- Or where are you trying to set 'random and repeat'? -- What are you trying to do?
Yes. Everything from the mid-bass up sounded fine without it. I made minor adjustments to the three lowest bands and the sound filled out nicely.

I have configured LMS with Qobuz plugin and set for the HiFiBerry card in the squeezelite settings. The lights are lit on the HiFiBerry card. How do I now access a stream from Qobuz?

Have you logged into Qobuz on the Pluggin with your Qobuz Login and Password? -- If so, the Qobuz App should be listed under my Apps.....
Paydirt! Anyplace to go where I can learn more about what I have and how to use it?

Is there a way to boost bass with this setup? Mids and highs sound great. Bass is not bad, but was better with Amazon Music (when I could get it).

Pre-amp with tone Controls.
I have a headphone amp but it has no tone controls. I'm not sure I'd go this route, but does anybody make a stand alone small eq?

I've used an RPi3 in the garage system using WiFi for years. It just took initially configuring via ethernet going through the multiple reboots until finally enabling WiFi.
The garage is semi-attached and needed an extender and external adapter to get buffer-free 192/24 operation.
Multiple reboots was my experience as well.

you can't just set everything at once.
I don't know of any other application that requires several reboots between making changes to get it working!

Windows ;-)
Actually, if you know what you're doing, it only requires 1 restart of LMS. And Windows is not involved in most PcP installations.

I wasn't talking about LMS.
I'm not running PcP but I had to take my shot at Windows even though it has improved a lot in recent years under Windows 10. We'll have to see what Windows 11 has to offer.
Did you get my PM I sent a few days ago?

Took a few tries but I finally got it working.
All I really want to do right now is stream from Qobuz. I have no storage attached to the pi.

I suppose I should wait to post until I have time to be more thorough.
As I mentioned, all I want to do with it right now is stream Qobuz. What else do I need to configure to do that?

You have to go into Settings (Lower right corner of LMS Screen) > Pluggins and you will see a Qobuz Pluggin which you can enable and then you will see another settings on the Qobuz PLuggin line. Clicking on that you will be able to enter your qobuz login and password.....

Been running Qobuz through a LMS server for a couple of years now. Works great.

Make sure it is connected by going to the following Page... It should list the IP address it is connected to... Once you have that you can pull the Ethernet Connection and run from the new IP Address
I'm pretty sure I tried that and didn't get a wifi IP address. Let me check again tonight and I'll report back tomorrow.

If you didn't get a WiFi IP address, you keyed in the SSID and/or Password wrong... It's fussy about that. :-)

I have one on my desk that is running PiCorePlayer and is on wi-fi. I will fire it up and see if I can copy some of the relevant settings for you.OK, I have it running now, too big to capture everything on one screen, but PiCorePlayer "WiFi Settings" tab shows:
WiFi: ON
SSID: my network SSID
PSK Password: network password, shows "**********" on screen.
PSK Passphrase: this is auto-generated by PiCorePlayer.
Country Code: US
Security Mode: WPA-PSK (in my case)
Hidden SSID: No (in my case)RPI built-in wifi: ON
RPI built-in bluetooth: OFFWifi information is showing a MAC address and also an IP address.
Network wait: 50
I have the "Player/Server" tab at the bottom selected to show these options.
Hope that helps.

I'll compare to what I have when I get home tonight.
