Thinking maybe I should upgrade my WiFi Router. Anyone here recently shopped for a High End Router and came away with a 'Winner'?
Not interested in a Mesh System as I have 3 Great Access Points Currently that give me more control and Flexibility.

If you are happy with your current WiFi setup just get an Edgerouter X. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is worth it. Much better than domestic routers, and a bargain IMO.If you want to upgrade the WiFi, grab some UniFi AC Pros.

NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S Smart WiFi Router (R7800) that is in the Casita a full 100 feet from where I am sitting at my computer and it covers the whole house (3500? sq. ft.) albeit one level.
From the same distance, I can't even find the xfinity wifi cable modem.
Surely three access points must give you enough wi-fi coverage, unless you own a sprawling compound.
3600 sq. ft inside... Multiple Levels... as well as outside patio, deck garage... Some Wifi Cameras out on the lawn... The WiFi Router is also an 'Access Point'.
Also, can you even get a Router these days without WiFi?
I would have expected your ISP to provide a gateway with basic routing functionality i.e. NAT. Comcast, Charter, and Verizon do that around here. Then you would only need a switch.
I'm also surprised you need 4 access points. A single good WAP should cover your whole property.
When I last upgraded my networking about 6 years ago, I got two Ubiquiti UniFi 802.11ac WAPs. One is for a guest wifi network that is firewalled off from the rest of my network, the other is for all of our devices. Both of them cover the full house and yard.

I use a company provided Cisco VPN router. Mine is an older CV-320, but here's the current version .
And similarly feed three access points: main one in office, identical one running as repeater at other end of house and an older one in garage. Likewise, they feed multiple cameras around the manse.
I installed WiFi 6 Asus RT-AX86U in January. Much more powerful and faster than the previous AC-1900 I was using. We live in a fairly small house and it covers everything, including the detached garage very well.
Ditto on the Asus RT-AX86U. Installed one this year too. Vastly better performance than my old Asus router and covers my entire house and detached garage well. Have had no issues with wifi since the install.

I bought the Asus RT-AX86U yesterday and had it hooked up and running in less than a half hour. And I have a bit of a complicated network with 3 Access Points, Static IP addresses and over 50 devices connected.
The range is not quite as good as my Old Netgear R6300v2 Router, but the WiFi Speed of the Asus Router is much faster. If I get within 30 feet of this new router, I am getting 800-900 MB ps. The Old router was giving me about 300-350 Mbps. I do have Gig Speed Internet, so the extra WiFi Speed was nice. I might even get another one of these to use as my Main Access Point. So, thanks for the recommendation.
And that's good to hear that you're getting faster speeds. Sometimes range can be improved with placement - mine did better when I moved it to the upper floor of our bungalow.
Though your house size is much larger than ours. And it sounds like your network is a bit more complex.
Enjoy!

Although, I have had no problems with this router. It is producing a lot of messages in the System Log... Have you had to deal with these? Not sure if they are errors or information... Don't understand them a bit?

Looks like the General log, right? I've never looked at mine until just now. Lots of stuff in mine too. Though no "kernel CONSOLE" messages. It certainly doesn't seem to effect how well the access point is functioning in my case.
Most of mine appear to be authorizations and deauthorizations for clients connecting and disconnecting. Some of that may be because I'm running PiHole on a RPi 3 to strip ads from my network though.
Here's a sample of mine:

Do you use the 2.5G WAN Port? --- I configured mine this morning. I can't see a reason not to use it. It turns the 'regular' WAN port into a LAN Port... So, even though I don't have internet over 1G Speed, it still has advantages.
No, I've been using just the regular 1G port. Maybe I'll try the other to check any difference.

There would only be a difference if you had over Gigabit Internet Speeds. I only have 1G Internet, so the only thing I gain is an extra LAN Port.
You might want to research Wifi 6 routers that have just recently hit the market. I see several on Amazon, but none from Luxul. I haven't updated my router in a couple years and have yet to research Wifi 6. My understanding is that they perform better than current Wifi when there are several Wifi connected devices so throughput is higher, and actual speed to a single device is potentially faster as well. Not sure of all the details except that it's the latest whiz-bang standard for Wifi.
Not recently, but I used to work for a smart home company and often the main thing we did was make the wifi work everywhere and fast. Luxul was a major step up from the run of the mill players. Worth every penny IME. Setup was a bit different but nothing majorly different and when setup it was fast and reliable.
I had one install where the guy wanted his Apple TV to be playing in the garage. His ISP provided router couldn't cut it. His nighthawk upgrade was "ok". Luxul omg it crushed it. Way faster than I thought it would be and big step up from the netgear.
