Adobe announced that it would stop providing security updates for Flash Player 3 years ago and it is now officially dead. Flash Player has been plagued with bugs and security vulnerabilities for years. It is no longer needed since the adoption of HTML5 in all modern browsers a few years back.
If you're still running ancient Windows and ancient browsers you might be SOL.
Read the article below and read the links to additional information on how to remove it from your browsers and computers. Pay attention to the instructions..... very simple.
I removed Flash Player long ago.
Follow Ups:
See the post linked below for link to the MS uninstaller for various Windows versions. I had to go to the second page to find it for Win10 20H2. It's not even clear that there is a second page until you look closely.
so I deleted everything I could find.
Have no Idea what happens now.
For getting rid of apps and all their associated files, I've been happy with AppCleaner which IIRC you can download from the App Store - it searches everything associated with the app you want to get rid of - even the stuff you can't find yourself. It then shows you the list of what it finds, which it can then delete for you if you give the go ahead. I've used it for years with no problems.

I ran the uninstaller, but could not delete files in the directories mentioned, such as C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash. Even as administrator I did not have permission to delete files in that folder.
The Adobe Flash uninstaller just removes Adobe's install, which is used by third party browsers. From Windows 8 on, Flash is incorporated into Internet Explorer, which is an essential component of Windows. Supposedly, MS was going to push a Windows update that removes the remains of it. I haven't seen it pushed to my computers yet, but I haven't looked for it on the Microsoft update site either. It might be out there.
try the program at the link
be well,
