I think E-Stat uses the wall of his garage which should be fine.
Also, the DAC DOES have a metal case, after all.
My plastic cased Pi is about two feet away from the nearest other audio component.
I'd worry more about my metal cased Macbook Air causing RF problems before the I would the Pi.
Follow Ups:
For all the hoopla over how 1ft of interconnect cabling improved the sound of his system , you'd think that RFI would be considered an issue. Then again, you'd think he'd know how NOT to measure it.
