why Mickey Rooney?
or even 'how' Mickey Rooney?
be well,
Follow Ups:
Mickey Rooney was a senstional dancer, and a fantastic actor.
He exuded a fresh, irrepressable enthusiasm and magnetism.
His longevity is almost without equal. He appeared as a mere child in the film version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" as "Puck."

He sparkled in the Andy Hardy flicks, with Judy Garland.
His energy and verve were irresistable.
Remember "It's a Mad, Mad World"?
He took on darker, more dramatic rolls later in his career as well.
He scores major points for marrying film goddess Ava Gardner, too!
It's a controversial choice, I know. But taken as a whole, I think his career makes him a lock in this category.
'marrying film goddess Ava Gardner'
huh, yeah he certainly did himself righteous there
never thought I'd see 'sparkling' associated with the Andy Hardy character
but OK ... can't deny his work ethic that's for sure
regards,
