How does one tell, for example, that a title will stream in Hi Rez?
They say 70,000 titles, but that could be just 24 bit?
Please keep up posted.
Are you getting anything in 24/192?
Follow Ups:
I thought hi rez is defined as 24 bit: 44.1/24 is hi rez ... While 96/16 recordings do not exist ...
My sense is that in classical music Qobuz sublime+ offers hi rez streams of certain labels (DG, Decca, Sony, RCA, Harmonia Mundi, etc) but limits it to 44.1/16 for other labels (Chandos, BIS, Naxos, etc).
I have not found anything above 96 khz so far, but I have not been looking ...
Keep us posted if anything changes.
Over the last year or so I've seen some labels only available as 30 mp3 streams (Chandos, BIS, etc.), then for some reason, be available again(but sadly not Channel Classics).
Hopefully it's just a matter of getting the labels on board?
Let's hope so.
