The site speaks of an app with "high resolution streaming." Any indication of how high?
Follow Ups:
The "PrimeSeat" app can be downloaded for DSD5.6MHz or PCM96kHz/24bit audio-only playback. It's free and I tried it. Wasn't appreciably more resolute on my computer system than the video. But my PC isn't exactly audiophile approved......
This wasn't one of the NHK Symphony's "normal" venues (NHK Hall or Suntory Hall). I personally never saw the place before. (Or it may have been a venue that had undergone major renovation.) While I watched the video, I got the impression that the conductor wasn't hearing the back of the orchestra as well as he would have liked to, and tended up make them "overplay" at times. (The brass sounded uncharacteristically "sluggish".) Especially the very end of the B-7. (I watched another B-7 a week earlier by the VPO in the Musikverein, and the back of the orchestra was heard a lot more clearly.)
