A good many years ago I bought a cheapie jazz cassette from Woolworth's in the UK. It was titled 'Leonard Feather's Encyclopedia of Jazz Vol. 1'.
It has 12 tracks by (presumably 12 different personnel), but doesn't identify who is on each track. The insert states: 'Lightnin' Hopkins, Brownie McGhee, Jimmy Witherspoon, Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughan, Count Basie and others' The cassette is Chevron CHV 047. The tracks are (in this order):
Stool Pigeon Blues, Walk On, In Blues, Undecided, Mean Mistreater, It's A Mean Old Man's World, Jumpin' At The Woodside, I Let A Song Go Out Of My Heart, Until I Met You, My How The Time Goes By, Downhearted Blues, Dearly beloved.
I'm certain the first three are by Hopkins, McGhee, and Witherspoon respectively, but am unsure about the rest.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a million. Even the LP cover is the same as the one on the cassette.
I see the LP was issued in 1972. I bought the cassette in 1973, so I've been waiting 39 years to get the final revelation!
It's a bit strange that the LP wasn't on sale at the same time as the cassette.
Cheers
