Hello.
I have a new tweeter and need assistance removing the old one.
The directions couldn't be more vague.
They simply say to - disconnect the old tweeter.
But there is no description.
We don't want to pull on the wrong part and snap, tear or break anything.
Can someone who has done this on a 3.5,3.6 or 3.7 get back to me and tell me where exactly it pops out?
It's just a plastic cover and I don't want to yank it and damage something and end up needing to ship the whole thing.
Anyone who has actually done this, please let me know.
Really want to get these working again.
Am I just supposed to pull it out?
I tried applying a bit of pressure and it did not come out, but it did begin to bend, which was concerning.
Thank you very much.
Follow Ups:
they were stuck down to the cloth pretty well and it was necessary to gently pry them up starting at each end.

There is a push-on connector at each end. Pry them off. The cables may need a bit bending. I would keep the protectors in place while doing this.
Below a picture the tab connector.
