Well, maybe the following is completely common knowledge to you all here. But, anyway, I will tell you about my little experience.
The experience is mainly about that the membranes do render much lower frequencies than normally heard. Nothing new about the fact that an open baffle-speaker cancels itself from producing deep bass. The main factor here is the size of the baffle.
So, when I placed the DWM very close to one of the 3.7's, the baffle-size do increase. At least as high up as the DWM reaches. The width there increases considerably. In fact it aproximately doubles from the floor and up to the top of the DWM. And of course not just that, but even the moving area is enlarged.
So, to place one or two DWM's with a distance to the main speakers may give something regarding the sound-producing area. SPL, i.e. But not so very much regarding deepening of the bass. Not so surprising, because when they are separated, there is the normal cancellation-conditions around each speaker. But placed close together, the bass really deepens.
The only explanation I can think of is that the membranes actually can vibrate at much lower frequencies than the 40 or so Hz specified.PS
The standard recommendation to pull the DWM a bit closer to the listener can be ignored when you decrease the upper-range of it by using some coils. I.e. the issue with phase-correction by distance is eliminated.PPS
No, there is no issue of sound slanting towards the left. The DWM is effectively low-passed by two 10 mH coils (from approx. 100 Hz in practice.)

From the photo, your 3.7s seem to be a bit too close to the back wall. Also, you could place some bass frequency absorbent materials behind the 3.7s, once you have created room by pulling them forward a few feet. Those maneuvers would also help bass extension and definition.
Unless you want to effectively turn your dipoles into monopoles, he says.
Geddes (dipole speaker designer, etc...) recommends the use diffusion treatments behind and at the sides of dipole speakers, and absorption treatments in other spots around the room, as needed.
As far as I know, the speakers are not too close to the wall behind them. Of course, due to some additional width of the baffle, the roll off of the bass is at a lower frequency.
Well, I have not measured anything. This is for two reasons:
1 When I did some years ago, "good" measurements did for some reason not correlate with the sound-results that satisfied me. That in turn made me more confused and more uncertain about what actually was good...
2 I listen to nearly 100% to large scale symphonic music and to some minor part to smaller scale such as solo piano or maybe some string quartet. This type of music is in itself easy to evaluate the reproduction of. It is quite easy to judge if it sounds realistic or not when listening to things that exists in the real world all by itself.
The speakers are about 1,4 metres from the wall and they are angled in a way that the reflexion-area is spread out over a large span of distances, i.e. not only the 1,4m distance but everything from the nearest part of the side wall behind the speaker, down to the corner and further along the back wall. Even the angles are then of course spread out over a large span of values.
This eliminates the need for damping, and because of this non-damping, the sound energy is used instead of reduced. Special arrangemants of complex diffusors are not necessary, because the natural use of the walls take care of the diffusion or rather spreading of energy vectors.

About 5' of distance between Maggie's rear and back wall is the oft recommended thing. And it looks like you have about that much.
Nice room !
Good to see you're having a good experience with the DWM and your 3.7i. I've been working with DWM (one and then two) for a couple years, trying many, many positions and measuring response and phase relationships.
Are you measuring the response and correlating to listening?
