Does anyone know the name of that place and if they're still in business?
I think the owner or one of the guys is named Randy though I'm not sure.
Tia.
Follow Ups:
Kent McCollum aka AA member kentaja.
I am a very satisfied customer of his rebuild work.
He's rebuilt and upgraded my 63s. He's a walking encyclopedia when it comes to this stuff and he's always treated me right.
The man who kicked off the 57 rebuilding movement (IMO)
That said, I'll be sticking with Kent since he's the one who rebuilt my pair.
see link
I believe they bought all the original tooling and re-manufacture everything.
I think that they moved to South Carolina and then went out of business. Mike and Randy were great guys.
Sorry to say. I dealt primarily with Randy who always treated me right.
that's who I bought my replacement 57 tweet panels from many years ago. It would be nice to know they are still around
I was talking to them on the phone once and they mentioned the classic series. I said something like, 'I really like those' and they said 'EVERYONE REALLY LIKES THEM BUT NO ONE BUYS THEM'.
'A lie is halfway around the world before the truth gets its boots on'. -Mark Twain
I found a link to their site and mention of them as late as 2013. The link is now owned by an Indonesian game of chance.
Sorry to say.
