A dear friend has passed away I am heartbroken.

Dear Sirs and Members,
With due respect to the deceased, I can find no public records of Death, Obituary or Memorial of any kind.
Could anyone who has such details please pass them along by private message? (My Monika, this board)
So sorry to hear that... I have ESL-57 and ESL-63s both with his panels - a testimonial to his skill and knowledge. RIP...
I'm sorry to hear this sad news. I have a pair of 57's that he did for me with lovely copper grills. RIP
Thank you for letting us know. Wayne has been difficult to reach since his health problems started.
My 57's were completely rebuilt by him and he did a spectacular job. They're the best Quads I've ever heard and I enjoy them every day.
Sad news indeed.

So sad to hear about Wayne.
I have his stacked Quad 57s. And a set of 63s. All over ten years old and still great!

Very sad to read the news. Kent, I hope you are looking after yourself. Never too soon to take on an apprentice to service future Quad owners
Best wishes,

I had my ESL-57 panels rebuilt by Wayne in 2014.
About 6 months later one of the bass panels developed an issue (won't go into details here), and Wayne was a true gentleman and kind businessman about replacing it - no fuss. Was down for a few weeks to ship the one panel back and for the replacement to arrive.
During those emails Wayne mentioned that his health was declining, but never said exactly what. He indicated that life was valuable and couldn't understand why people treated others without regard...-.he seemed very thankful that I was patient and not raising hell about having my speaker fixed.
I did hear rumblings over the next few years that he wasn't delivering on time, work was late, etc., but the poor guy was just very ill. I think he had heart trouble.
RIP Wayne - your work brings a smile to my face almost every day!
Very sorry to hear Kent. Awful news.
I am sorry to learn of Wayne Picquet's death. I never used his services but saw online the results of his Quad ESL restorations which were impressive.
Dear Sirs and Members,
With all due respect to the deceased, I have been unable to find any public record of Wayne Picquet's death and/or obituary.
Can anyone point me at the official record? (not MyHeritage and such like)
So sorry to hear of Wayne's death. He did some of the best panels and rebuilds of Quad 57's until his health declined. Mike
Sorry to hear. Hopefully he lived a good, long life...
