Which Power Regenerator are you using? I was thinking about one of those to try out. Yes little things add up to make a big difference.

Another manufacturer's regenerators I can personally recommend is PurePower.
What differentiates the PP units is their incorporation of wet-cell batteries and the ability to keep on playing during power outages. Mine also came in VERY handy during the collapse of the Texas power grid back in February. Was able to keep phones charged and run a couple of lights off the batteries.
I have their 1500+, and use one of their older 1050 models on my AV gear.
