Return to Planar Speaker Asylum

My LRSes landed on my doorstep 16 months ago. I played 'em bone stock for
a while. Then I installed aftermarket stands; nice improvement. Next I
installed 12 gauge solid core speaker cable; more improvement. Then 3
weeks ago, I put a power regenerator into the chain and plugged my amps
into it. Lots more improvement. What I'm hearing today is a big, big
upgrade over what I was hearing 16 months ago. Each change has compounded
the effects of previous ones. I had been contemplating purchasing bigger
Maggies; no longer. I just love what I'm hearing today. I'm happy.

Follow Ups:
I do something like a power regenerator with my turntable. I have an HP 33120A Arbitrary Waveform Generator to make 60 Hz (+/- 1 PPM/month). The max output is 15 V p-p so I run it through a Crown Com-Tech 400SD. It is a 2 channel, constant voltage type amplifier, 70.7 volts each channel. I run it bridged can get 115 VAC (+ 57.5 and -57.5 VAC) out of it.The next iteration will be to use two of the arb gens synced together, one for each set of poles in the TT motor.
If there is only one AC input a capacitor is used to create the necessary phase shift as is usual in a TT motor the problem is the amount of phase shift needed to run the motor at it's smoothest is not enough to get the motor started. When the capacitor is large enough to start the motor is is too large to run the motor smoothly.
Having a superbly phase and voltage stable power input is important. There are a lot of boxes that do that. Two adjustable voltage sources which are synched and variable is the next level.

Which Power Regenerator are you using? I was thinking about one of those to try out. Yes little things add up to make a big difference.
Another manufacturer's regenerators I can personally recommend is PurePower.
What differentiates the PP units is their incorporation of wet-cell batteries and the ability to keep on playing during power outages. Mine also came in VERY handy during the collapse of the Texas power grid back in February. Was able to keep phones charged and run a couple of lights off the batteries.
I have their 1500+, and use one of their older 1050 models on my AV gear.
