Scintillas work an amp like no other speaker - but "fatigue", please explain? Sound, amp strain only or both? Amps running hot due to high current speakers do tend to boil their supply caps requiring a refresh every few years.
Running Scintillas in 4 ohm mode (assuming 1+4 type) reduces sound quality, and comes with a huge drop in efficiency. 1 ohm mode is the real Scintilla, with a fixed 1 ohm foil (or we can supply a new 1 ohm MR resistor interface).
The ICE based H2O amps can certainly power the Scintillas, and if over driven the module is an inexpensive repair...
