Return to Planar Speaker Asylum

Friends, I am streamlining my system's footprint due to the limited space of my new listening room (a 14 x 12 bedroom) for my Maggie 3.6. I am looking for the best alternatives to the stock crossover's mounting pins to attach the crossover to the speakers. I have used the Cardas jumpers but would like to get the crossover off the floor for a cleaner setup. Much thanks in advance.
Follow Ups:
I suggest you do not want to hang the XO box from the spkr connectors on the back-plate of the 3.6s.
The XO boxes should be on the floor - if you have the 3.6s jammed up against the front wall so there is not enough space for the XO boxes on the floor ... you should get rid of the 3.6s, as you're certainly not hearing them optimally. Sorry. :-((

There are far too many connectors with these. The many joints can be reduced drastically. Too often we see people who substitute the short links with cable and another set of connectors. You can have cables coming out from the speakers to the crossover boxes and place the boxes elsewhere, even on the back of the speaker but please, avoid the original connectors in between the speaker and the crossovers.
Thanks Andy and Roger for the input. I've used the Cardas jumper cables as many on this forum recommend and never tried the stock pins. Obviously, if the pins degrade the sound quality then I do not want to use them. Just curious, what am I going to lose in the sound signature with the stock pin connection in the chain?
The pins are not solely responsible for any degradation. It is the number of metal-to-metal joints all the way from the drivers to your amps speaker terminals. A large number of these can be "bypassed" with soldering as you will not remove these an a daily basis. One has to start at the drivers (it is difficult as the covers need to be removed) and work through the signal path. You can also bypass the fuses (if you dare) and the tweeter attenuator link (if you use a resistor - solder it). I would remove all push-on connectors and solder. I think you may need guidance with pictures.
I am not ready to go down this path yet :-))
I am using these...much cheaper than the Cardas.
Thanks for the input.
