Its dependent on the state of the ESLs. If they are stock etc, the J2 wont over stress anything, but it won't sound great either, frankly if the speakers have not been completely rebuilt, nothing will sound great.
FWIW I have a DIY Aleph J, and a factory Pass XA 30.5. With my rebuilt ESLs (Kent McCollum full rebuild) The J kinda, sorta runs out of gas on big symphonic music, but sounds fine at lower volumes or with simpler music.
The XA 30.5 sounds really good with any kind of music.
Rebuilt ESLs have the same nasty impedance curve as stock, but will handle much, much more power easily.
