Thanks kff, that's encouraging! I'll definetely contact them.
Tell you the truth I'd expect them not only do it, but do it on warranty if not out of customer respect. Speakers of that price should be built to last a lifetime - I have a pair of 1985 Klipsch Forte that can shake my house like they just came out of their box.
It is known that the problem stems from past switch to a non-freon-based glue that wasn't suitable for the job. To me that is a design flaw that they should correct like car manufacturers do when they recall models. Seeing people here go to the trouble of repair indicates they won't, but I'll try to hint that to them anyways, in more "polite" terms of course lol
That being said I may be tempted to go for a superior model if they propose an exchange value for the MG12 :-)

They are only slightly smaller. The leap in the seamlessness of the sound is not subtle. I think the delam is the God of Adhesives' way of telling you to go for the new tech.

You obviously don't own an expensive car.

if you were lucky enough to buy a McLaren F1 back in the early nineties for around $800K, it'd be worth well over $20M today. Jay Leno drives his regularly.Ditto for the Ferrari Enzo which original sold for around $350K but now worth around $3M. But here one could easily argue that after 20 yrs the car simply held it's value compared to the Ferrari flagships of today.

If Bryston built a car though... :) still no warranty that long.
And even their audio stuff, free from manufacturing defects for 20 years. Things wear out. That's a different story.

Heard other similar services before also! Doesn't get much better...
I would add Sanders Sound too; I think Roger stands behind all his products (not sure about the Innersounds)

Perhaps, don't know enough to say. But if so, that's great, and heard nothing but good out of that company.
unlikely they'll honor a one year warranty after 20 years.Cone speakers rot out, Amp caps leak, turntable belts/motors wear, etc.,. these all fall under normal wear and tear.
Smaller, independent companies often do complimentary repairs usually out of love for their product while simultaneously establishing a good client base.
Larger companies whom I'm sure also love their products, simply cannot afford to payroll a team dedicated to performing $1,000 repairs on speakers that 'might' fetch 1/3rd that (or less) on the used market.
