What exactly do you mean by "wired out of phase with each other "?? ...

Do you mean ... have you connected the amp's red terminal to the speaker's red terminal, and the amp's black terminal to the speaker's black terminal, on one side - and then reversed the connection on the other?

If so, what would be the point of doing this?
