I suggest you use the resistors at first because to my ears the speakers sounded too hot without break in. If they sound good to you that's fine, don't bother. The choke tweak I find to be beneficial in a high RF environment. They certainly don't hurt the sound.One method of break in is to use FM interstation noise 24/7 when you're not there. Probably that's the fastest. Otherwise just listen to them, they only get better over time.
