a fairy godmother came up to me and offered to instantly make me physically forty years younger, I'd probably say, "no thanks!". Wouldn't want to have that much longer in our culture, given its direction. Glad to have lived when I did.

I'm 65, and my father is 92. People always ask if I want to live as long as he has, and I respond with "probably not--don't know if I want to be around for another 25-30 years". My older daughter and her husband made a conscious decision not to have children. They don't believe that it would be fair to bring a child into this world, under the current circumstances--and I really can't argue with that decision.
