And back. On Jeff Bezos' dick-shaped rocket.
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?

If TRUE.....they should have left him there when they had the chance......

This interview before the flight with Anderson Cooper was pretty cool - 90 years old - wow - he looks 60. I am a huge Star Trek fan but I liked him more as Denny Crane - he was a hoot that's what he was.
He is really funny and with it for 90. I loved Denny Crane.
Loved Denny Lock n load

"I liked him more as Denny Crane - he was a hoot"
On that, we agree. "Boston Legal" was a great show.

I liked that they broke the fourth wall a lot. And a few references to Star Trek here and there. The last season of The Practice is worth seeing if you missed it - Allan Shore was largely the main character for the season and Denny Crane is in the last 4 or so episodes.
Scotty beat Kirk, too bad Nimoy didn't have the opportunity (nt)
Did they LEAVE him there?
If not? WHY not?

He will reach Mach 3 (3x the speed of sound) on ascent.
That's 0.00034% of Warp Factor 1, but it's a start.

The guy who was Captain Kirk back in the 60s travels into space at age 90.
Better than Shatner going would have been Shatner AND Nimoy going.

Abdicating space to gazillionaires is dangerous to society. Not a peep from our political leaders. NASA, effectively, has been superseded and privatized. It seems like a trite sci-fi plot: mega-rich combine to control space and its mineral wealth. Weaponize it? Perhaps that follows, too.
Who has the biggest between Musk and Bezos is what this is about. Branson will be left shriveled in the cold, or he could join the race if he responds to the right growth email.
Nevertheless, congrats to Capt Kirk!
Now that was cool !!

Dr. Flexi Jerkoff would agree!
You, sir, build very nice toy models of cars, and may have a sexual issue.

Kind of ironic.

Shatner seemed a bit unsteady on his feet after. He probably needed his walker, but that would have been bad optics.
...he was originally supposed to go up on Monday. NBC News interviewed him and he was genuinely afraid of not making it back.
Maybe if Leonard Nimoy was still alive, Shatner wouldn't have been so worried. After all, Spock always saved Kirk.

Yes the rocket is...like trying not to notice a big mole on someone's face. : )
Otherwise a great news story to wake up to.
...in the Big Swinging Dick competition, but jeez...
