I wish more brewers of IPA would STOP.
Shelves are full of the stuff to the expense of more......worthy brews. Bought a Pilsner a few weeks ago which is pretty nice.
Branch Out and try something new......An Imperial Stout? A Wit? Any of a bunch of Czech Lagers? Or even a Porter? A local brewer may still be making a Smoked Porter....NICE......
Too much is never enough
Follow Ups:
A bottled English Ale from Portsmouth has taken my fancy.
And several others...........

There is a dark ale here in Canada by Upper Canada brewery, and it has become my go-to lately. It is very refreshing, not what you might think from a dark ale. Not overly expensive either, but life is too short to drink cheap crappy beer.
We are locked-down here because of the pandemic, so I save money drinking my own beer instead of going to the pub and drinking theirs. I am getting my first vaccine dose this afternoon, and I will be buying a case after I get my shot.
No, Mr. Pence, 'The Handmaid's Tale' is not a documentary about the good old days.
Depending on ingredient list, a 'dark ale' MIGHT be either a Stout (real dark) or a less-dark PORTER.
If the brewer eschews a 'style name', so much the better and just enjoy it for what it IS.....Not for what they SAY it is....
Too much is never enough
