gonna put some home-grown oregano in the food dryer soon.
Got a load of clothes in the wash, if that counts as a job.
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?
Follow Ups:
along with enjoying all manner of "home grown oregano". ;)
...sadly, in this case it really is oregano. Not ready to harvest yet either. Co-worker gave me a few stems about 12 years ago, when we lived in our old house. Brought some up from to the place and it happily settled in. That stuff takes over and it's unkillable.

I haven't grown oregano, but I've been growing basil for years. I'm telling you what, basil grows faster than we can eat it. And, it's tasty.

I'm pretty sure that I told my wife what it was. I'm pretty sure she wasn't listening. I am the cook.
One day, the pot was cleaned out. I asked my wife if she knew what happened. She said she had pulled it all up. She said that she thought it was just weeds since she never saw any flowers.
Hahahahahaha!!!
Tell her that the next time she has an extra $3 in her wallet, that she can go buy the next basil plant, plant it, watch it grow, clean and slice the bell peppers and mushrooms, and mix it all with the shrimp, and to not forget the cayenne pepper!
THEN she'll learn not to throw out the basil.
:)
